Marie native has worked extremely hard and has become a vital part of the team. Darian finished December with 2 goals and 5 assists in 9 games. In 32 games, Darian has 18 points, just two points shy of surpassing his point totals from last season.

Drake Pilon (#28) was named the November TESC Hardest Working Player of the month. Drake was acquired through free agency at the start of last season and has been a driving force for the Sudbury Wolves. Drake has worked extremely hard to prove his abilities and has become a vital part of the team. The Sault Ste. Marie native was scouted, along with twin brother Darian, for his extreme work ethic that he brings to the arena every shift. Drake finished November with 3 goals and 3 assists in 11 games.

TESC HARDEST WORKING DEFENCEMEN OF THE MONTH

The recipient of the TESC Hardest Working Defenceman in December was Doug Blaisdell (#2). The overage defenceman was acquired by the Wolves in mid-October from the Kitchener Rangers. The dedicated defenseman provides strong leadership to the Wolves blueline.

The recipient of the TESC Hardest Working Defenceman in November was Cole Candella (#44). The recent addition to the Wolves’ blueline has been a strong offensive weapon for the team since his acquisition in late September from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Cole has notched 18 points in 28 games to date this season. Candella was selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. The NHL prospect had a solid month in November with 1 goal and 6 assists in 11 games.

The TESC Team congratulates Darian, Drake, Doug and Cole for their commitment and determination.
